The pitch was clear: a clashing contrast between top and bottom, both in color and tone. A mass of people under the rain, abducted upward by their phones, attached to gears that feed the top. Instagram-inspired visuals up top, cyberpunk down below.

I made a first version in a sunset mood, but we decided to push it toward a "golden hour" feel instead, to make the colors contrast even more: orange, yellow, and gold on top, blue and purple on the bottom, playing on complementary and opposite colors.
